With the cooperation of UNHCR, IMPR Humanitarian and HARUSEM, information meeting on Auto Industry project is held in Sanliurfa.
Auto Industry project will reach to 300 Syrian beneficiaries
As part of Auto Industry project, theoretical training of Automobile Electromechanics has started. Within this context, the project will reach to 300 Syrian beneficiaries with the cooperation of HARUSEM. Hands-on training will start after the theoretical trainings process.
HARUSEM Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Celal Agan made an opening speech. In this speech Agan thanked to IMPR Humanitarian and UNHCR officers. Agan also stated that HARUSEM will provide support to next projects.
UNHCR Livelihoods Program Officer Damla Taskin indicated that vocational courses will continue to serve to beneficiaries, thanking to IMPR Humanitarian and HARUSEM. Taskin also emphasized that the beneficiaries who graduated from this courses will have an advantage on finding a job.
Speaking on the behalf of IMPR Humanitarian, Hüseyin Demir gave information about Auto Industry project, and other country-wide projects which conducting by IMPR Humanitarian. Then, Demir thanked to UNHCR and HARUSEM officers who provide support to project.
Touching on the significance of vocational courses, AFAD Provincial Director Mahmut Sönmez, thanked to all participants and officers of IMPR Humanitarian, UNHCR and HARUSEM.
İsmail Demirol, Director of Sanliurfa Chamber of Commerce and Industry laid emphasis on Turkish language courses and vocational courses. Demirol thanked to IMPR Humanitarian, UNHCR and HARUSEM officers too.
