As the number of Iraqi refugees in Turkey steadily increases, family hygiene kits are being distributed to Ezidi refugees in Batman. The kits include sanitary napkins, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste and other items helping refugees to maintain daily hygiene routines under the harsh conditions of camp life.
The kits are appreciated by families, especially women, at the Ezidi camps in Beşiri/Batman, because they meet their basic needs for maintaining dignity while being forced to live away from home.
IMPR Humanitarian currently operates its women’s community centers in Adana, Ankara, Batman, Konya targeting Iraqi refugess and in Şanlıurfa, Ankara/Keçiören, Bursa, Mersin targeting Syrian refugees with the support of UNFPA.
While providing reproductive health, case management and women empowerment services at the centers, IMPR Humanitarian works to meet basic needs of refugee women by distributing core relief items such as dignity and hygiene kits, maternity kits.
