IMPR Humanitarian attended TAYSAD HR Meeting

IMPR Humanitarian increases cooperation with labor and employer associations.

Representatives of UNHCR and Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR) attended Human Resources meeting, which was organized by Association of Automotive Parts and Components Manufacturers (TAYSAD) and TOSB Organized Industrial Zone, alongside IMPR Humanitarian. The subject of legal employment of Syrians under Temporary Protection within the scope of a social responsibility project was discussed at the meeting.

TAYSAD Chairman Alper KANCA, who delivered the opening speech of the meeting, said that thanks to support provided by UNHCR and IMPR Humanitarian during the realization of this social responsibility project, they have followed an easier way in the implementation.

Stressing the importance of refugees living in our country and throughout the world should make their living, UNHCR Livelihood Programs Manager Damla Taşkın emphasized that employment of refugees in accordance with the needs of employers would reduce the difficulties experienced by refugees.

İŞKUR officials explained the programs that the companies could use while employing the refugees and stated that refugees seeking job should register İŞKUR and should be in contact with the individual consultants of the companies.

IMPR Humanitarian officials explained how to get work permit for companies, how to use the automation system, the application procedures and the point to take into consideration, also it has been expressed that the support will be provided by guidance before and during the application.

At the meeting, KANCA A.Ş. Human Resources Manager Zümrüt Koçak shared experience with employer and firm officials by giving feedback from their projects in their own companies. Kanca A.Ş had applied for work permit for its employees under Temporary Protection with the help of IMPR Humanitarian.

At the end of the meeting, questions were answered and details about the subject were discussed.
